A reminder that the Annual General Meeting is happening tonight, at 7pm at the RUC at Turner and as a member of the Sharkies Family you are invited to attend!

Early nominations are now closed, However it is still possible to join the committee in one of the following positions which have not received sufficient nominations prior to the AGM.

The following positions have had the correct number of nominations and nominees will be appointed without a vote:


There are currently no positions that have received multiple nominations that require a vote.

The Current Agenda for the Annual General Meeting tonight is:

1) Acceptance of last years AGM minutes
2) Committee Reports
3) Treasurers Report
4) Election of the Executive Committee
5) Election of the other positions in the committee
6) Appointment of Auditor
7) Consideration of changes to the constitution:
1 change proposed:
Rewording of constitution section 37.3
so that instead of:
“Ten members personally present (being members entitled under these Rules to vote at meetings of the Club) constitute a quorum for the transaction of the business of a General Meeting.”
It says:
“Ten members present (being members entitled under these Rules to vote at meetings of the Club) constitute a quorum for the transaction of the business of a General Meeting.”
Because:
The removal of the word “personally” will remove any ambiguity of online presence at General Meetings.
