Good Morning Sharkies Families!
Here we are on the eve of the final game of the regular season! And as we start to prep for the end of the year we wanted to touch base and let you know a few things that you should be aware of heading in to the end of the season!
1) Save a Date for Presentation Day.More details will be out shortly – but to allow enough time for Finals to finish and then school holidays to finish and to avoid public holidays, long weekends and Oztag Tournaments, our Presentation day will be held Mid – Late October!
2) 2025 Playing JerseysThis year players get to keep their playing Jersey! Please refer to your teams coach / manager on how your team will be handling that situation after your final game, keeping in mind that some teams are playing in post season carnivals and or finals matches. If you celebrated a major milestone throughout the last 2 years 100 games, 150 games or 200 games OR if you won a premiership in 2024 or 2025 (touch wood) your manager will collect your jersey so that your amazing achievement can be permanently commemorated on your jersey!
3) End Of Year AwardsAfter the success of last years public nominations, we are excited to announce that we are back at it again. You can nominate anyone from the club for any number of the 17 awards that we have included in the nomination forms. And have included an 18th “Other” option, By popular request we have introduced a LeagueSafe of the year award and a Club Values Award. If you have seen someone go above and beyond, or know of someone that deserves to be recognised we would love to hear from you. A reminder that all nominations are considered on their merits but the award subcommittee that is made up of 5 members of the committee. Quantity of nominations is not considered, Quality of nominations is the only thing considered.

As announced earlier this morning, We are excited to be able to announce that we intend to do a multicultural jersey for next year. We are canvassing for members of the Sharkies Family to design a jersey that represents their culture, their heritage and their history with the intention of putting as many of them together as we can to ensure that we have a multicultural jersey that represents as many cultures and backgrounds from the Sharkies family as possible. This initiative is being announced publicly afternoon. If you would like to participate there is a template and a submission option in this form here: – this is open to anyone so if you have a friend or a family member that is the artistic type of the appropriate person to do this sort of a design, they you can send the link on to them and they will be able to fully participate.
